Easton Anderson

SkillsUSA Idaho Postsecondary President

Meet your 2018-2019 SkillsUSA Idaho Postsecondary President! Easton was introduced to SkillsUSA while attending school at the Dennis Technical Education Center (DTEC) where he completed three years of Welding education and served as a school-wide officer for two years! He has competed in Welding competitions at both the State and National level, and took the State gold medal at the 2018 SkillsUSA Idaho State Leadership Conference in the Welding competition, which earned him a spot at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville where he placed eighth overall in that competition! Easton has plans to continue his education at the postsecondary level by attending Idaho State University to study pipe welding. Chance Russman

SkillsUSA Idaho Postsecondary Vice President

Meet your 2018-2019 SkillsUSA Idaho Postsecondary Vice President! Chance has been a member of SkillsUSA Idaho since 2015 and has held the offices of Vice President for his program area, Vice President of the Dennis Technical Education Center, and was last year's SkillsUSA Idaho State President! Chance has also graduated from the Leadership Boise Academy, where students gain a better understanding of current issues and opportunities in our community. He has competed in Welding Fabrication where he has earned third and first place at the Regional level and fourth at the State level. Chance has plans to continue his education at the postsecondary level by attending Idaho State University  to study Welding. Chance would like to tell students interested in becoming a member of SkillsUSA Idaho to go for it! "Learn everything that you can and take every opportunity that comes your way, even if they test your limits. Worst case scenario is that you find out what you do not want to do for a career, yet you still gain invaluable life skills!" Matthew Taylor

SkillsUSA Idaho President

Meet your 2018-2019 SkillsUSA Idaho President! Matthew began his SkillsUSA journey his Sophomore year and is now a Senior at Rocky Mountain High School where he practices his passion for Construction. Just in these last couple of years, Matthew has assisted his community by building a covered patio for a gentleman in Caldwell though Wish Granters Inc. and a house in Garden City for Habitat for Humanity! In addition to succeeding in his community, Matthew also succeeds at the competitive level, placing first in the State in the American Spirit competition at the 2018 SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference! For those interested in becoming a SkillsUSA Idaho member, Matthew shares his advice: "Do not let the commitment scare you! Jaiden Unger

SkillsUSA Idaho Vice President

Meet your 2018-2019 SkillsUSA Idaho Vice President! Jaiden first learned about SkillsUSA when she began attending the Dennis Technical Education Center (DTEC) and became an active member by attending monthly meetings with her local chapter as a Representative for Residential Construction.  In addition to her devotion to Construction, Jaiden is also heavily passionate about Career and Technical Education (CTE) and the opportunities that come with it! CTE plays a large role in Jaiden's life as it has helped her pursue her trade and taught her organization, communication, and teamwork skills which has helped her earn an internship at the Design Center of Boise for Interior Designing and Management! Serving as the 2017-18 SkillsUSA Idaho Vice President and the school-wide Parliamentarian at DTEC, she has definitely put her leadership skills to good use! Jaiden wants students interested in joining any of the Career and Technical Student Organizations to understand the level of reward that comes with joining. Devonne Busoy

SkillsUSA Idaho Secretary

Meet your 2018-2019 SkillsUSA Idaho Secretary! Devonne initially discovered SkillsUSA Idaho when she began attending Meridian Technical Charter High School (MTCHS) and has been highly involved in her chapter by serving as both Chapter Representative and Vice President! Thus far, she has competed in a number of State events and has placed Bronze in Related Technical Computer Applications, Silver in Quiz Bowl and Web Design, and Gold in Promotional Bulletin Board which earned her a spot in the National competition, in which her team placed thirteenth overall. Devonne sets high goals for herself which includes becoming a full-stack web developer and being involved in as many clubs and organizations as she has time for! Wyatt Lytle

SkillsUSA Idaho Treasurer

Meet your 2018-2019 SkillsUSA Idaho Treasurer! Wyatt has been involved in SkillsUSA for two years and is studying CNC Precision Machining at the Dennis Technical Education Center (DTEC) and is a Senior at Kuna High School. At the 2018 SkillsUSA Idaho State Leadership and Skills Conference, he placed Silver in CNC Precision Machining and was invited to participate at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, in which he placed 21st overall! Wyatt has plans to continue his education at the postsecondary level after graduating in the Machining pathway and has dreams of becoming a Machinist! Wyatt advises anyone interested in joining SkillsUSA Idaho to "Go for it! Get out there and open up doors for the career that you want to pursue; Learn and grow as a leader, and gain the experiences needed to become above average!" Daniel Martin

Meet your 2018-2019 SkillsUSA Idaho Reporter! Daniel has been a member of SkillsUSA Idaho for three years and has served in leadership roles at his school, outside of being a State Officer. Currently a Senior at Boise High School, Daniel also attends Dennis Technical Education Center (DTEC) and studies in the Welding program! This past year, Daniel participated in the Welding Fabrication competition and placed fourth overall at the State level. Upon graduating, Daniel has goals to continue his education at the postsecondary level by attending Idaho State University to pursue Welding. Daniel wants to say to those hesitant in joining SkillsUSA, "Just do it, you won't regret it! SkillsUSA has changed me for the better!". Chad Robinson

Meet your 2018-2019 SkillsUSA Idaho Parliamentarian! Chad became a member of SkillsUSA Idaho through the Dennis Technical Education Center (DTEC) in which he started out studying Residential Construction. After competing in his first State competition, he learned that Construction was not his specialty so he decided to switch gears and begin studying Precision Machining and competed in the Manual Precision Machining competition and placed third overall in the State! After competing at the State level for his second time, Chad decided that he wanted to step more into a leadership role and help others find their interests in competing.
